Where does the term Siloam com from?

I've seen that there are many daylilies with Siloam in the name. Is this a hybridizer? From where does this name originate?

That's a good question. I don't know the answer. You might ask on the daylily forum, if you don't get an answer here.

The name comes from the hybridizer who was from Siloam Springs, AR.
