Rabbits topped peas -- Regrowth?

mark_roeder(4B IA)May 28, 2008

Rabbits topped several of my pole pea plants. I have now fenced the rabbits out, but I don't notice any new growth on the topped peas.

Will growth regenerate on the topped peas?

Looks like nobody has an answer to that one, Mark. We will be waiting to hear the outcome from you. Any new growth yet?

I believe they will form a new leader from a side shoot. That's what my snap peas did anyway when the wind tore them in two.

I am now seeing new leaders from low side shoots.
