canada lily question

sarahbn(z6Pa.)May 22, 2006

I have a canada lily and two wood lillies. I don't think the wood lilies survived The canada lily thankfully has and this year I see two more I promised someone a canada lily and I was wondering when the best time to send it would be. Now before they bloom and are too big or afterwards? Thanks. Sarah

It would be better to let them grow until early Fall (after their foliage turns yellow and starts to die down) and then dig them up to send to your friend.
