Pole beans dry, yellowing (pic!)

First time I've tried beans in the plot I'm using right now. For two seasons I had tomatoes and have never amended soil except adding straw as a mulch.

This isn't from my garden but this is what my plants look like:

(btw, I havent watered them in a couple weeks with no rain.)

Looks like sun scald. Did you water recently?
