Sun Requirement

texasredhead(z8Texas)September 22, 2012

What are the sun requirements to grow healthy iris? In my present location my iris may get 3 hours of direct sun. I have had moderate success but will be going into their third year this spring. I am in the Dallas area.

Much depends upon how bright the shade is. A minimum of 6 hrs of sun is recommended.
