Question about cutting pole bean netting

catherinet(5 IN)June 6, 2008

Hi all,

Instead of using twine, I decided to try some of the netting I found at Menards. It has 7" openings, and is 5'x15'. Its 100% nylon. Can I cut it to the size I want without it unraveling? Do I have to burn each cut? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that netting, but if you do have to burn the cuts, cut/burn them with a small soldering iron. It will cut and seal them at the same time.

The El Cheapo ones are about $5.
