Very odd stems

debby_1(6)June 11, 2007

About 5 years ago my daughter bought me a package of Asian lillies that were fine up until about 2 years ago. The stems of the lillies are about 1 to 2 inches wide and have about 30 blooms - buds apiece. They were growing fine until we had a storm and they have ended up broken. Is this some kind of diease or other problem that may spread to my other lillies? Thanks alot.
