Hi iris lovers,

The second installment on blue irises is up on the World of Irises blog. Head on over and take a look if you like beardless irises.

After 10 attempts to decipher the 'letters" I give up. So here it is.

Thank you for showing us some lovely beardless. Great job.

I especially appreciate Killingsworth's accuracy in capturing color. So difficult with "blues". Wonder what kind of camera he used. The EXIF data isn't available. Drats.

Nice to hear the PCI's adapt to Australian climate. They do well here mid-pont on California's coast and northerly. Not sure about further south. Renee ~~ do they perform in your area? ~ Irisgal

I hate those letters.
I'll ask Ron what camera he uses. The PCIs don't thrive here. I guess we can grow some of them in the shade, but I haven't tried. Bob Sussman is working on toughening them for Southern California conditions, and he has some gorgeous hybrids at Matilija Nursery in Moorpark. In a few years there may be some varieties that can survive the heat here.
