In an old Danish movie a kid had a green light over his aquarium.

Probably the set designer put it there for artistic affect. But, would there be any other reason to have a green light over an aquarium?

Spouse tells me she has seen the green aquarium light in other Danish movies. It must be something that Danish movie makers do that we don't understand.

You're probably correct that the set designer put it there
for an artistic affect.... but you could do it to prevent
algae growth (of course live plants ain't gonna grow there
either LOL)

Personally I like the color of Green Fluorescent bulbs -
really is a great color & they're bright too!
(as a decorative thing...but not in my fishtanks)

Would love to find Red Fluorescent's as well ... but no luck
