When to Fall plant sugar snap peas in zone 6?

gaetanol(z6NY)July 25, 2007

I live in a New York City suburb. I spring-planted sugar snap peas for the first time this year and enjoyed them quite a bit. They are really winding down now, but I'd like to plant more so I can harvest more when the weather cools. When would be the right time to plant in zone 6?

I did a bit more research and found the answer to my own question. Here's the info:

According to the Cornell Cooperative Extension, fall plants should be sown 8-10 weeks before first frost, which for my area is Oct 30-Nov 10.
Here's a map for first frost dates in New York State
