Here's a Sum and Substance for ya...

Sum and Substance today in my garden...106 inches across and 100-200 eyes. Yes, that's my dear wife standing behind it...

Oh my that's a great display. It also makes me realize I need to re-measure the spot for one of my S&Ss! I have three and I questioned my judgment on one spot. Can't wait to see more

Holy cow. That patch of vegetation is an entire ecosystem. It's making up for deforestation in the Amazon.

Don,

I've never been a big fan of S&S but your presentation with Golden Tiara takes my breath away. Lovely.

Wow - I thought mine was big, but am properly humbled. Yours is truly a monster.

I can't let mine get much bigger. I planted a row of four allowing 60" per plant. The one that gets the best light has passed that and is crowding out its neighbors.

You SURE that's a Sum and Substance, Don? It's a little small. Maybe it'll show it's true form when it matures.

Fess up, Don....there's a ground hog buried under that plant, isn't there??

Speaking of "The Ground Hog Hosta", is this plant still around? Love to see a current pic!!! Wonder if it's devoured a small city by now.
