bearded iris in North Florida

njiris(z 5 NJ)October 10, 2009

I probably have asked this before, but does grow or know of someone who grows bearded iris in the north florida (panhandle section)?

Answer is very important as I really would like to live there as I already own property there and it seems kind of temperate, not like the other part of Florida.

How about raised beds? Would that be of help?

You might want to post this on the Florida form, if you don't get an answer here.
