what is eating my seed in garden

I have planted beans, cukes 3 times and they start to sprout and then dissapear. What is doing it and what can I do to make it stop? This is my 8th year gadening in Northern AZ and have never had this problem in the past Veggie plants all doing wonderful, I need HELP, thanks in advance

Well, you'd certainly need to give us a LOT more information before we could tell you what's happening in your garden.

Absent information, about the only thing that can be recommended is to guard against cutworms by placing collars around vulnerable plants to prevent insect damage from those that live in the soil, and cover your rows with row-covers to prevent damage from birds or deer or rabbits or other critters that like tender young green things.
