SAD light for houseplants

pattirose4December 20, 2010

I saw this the other day and was thinking it might be good for some supplemental winter lighting for my houseplants. Does anyone else think so or am I wasting my money?

Yes, IMO it is a total waste of money. It's only about 550 watts of light. You would be much better off to buy some CFL bulbs!

Taz,

>> How'd you get 550w Mike? It wasn't easy. I had to convince my brain to take a hike and typed watts instead of lumens!
