Peace Lilly question

rjingaOctober 3, 2007

I have 3 very large peace lillies, in fact they were always so large that they could not stay I tried always to find the most shady areas to keep them....(very difficult task at my house, since I have absolutely NO shade trees anywhere...

So, my question....what should be done to them to help when their leaves get burned or dried out?

I will have a GH for them for this winter and if they like it there, they may just live there permanetly....(unless it gets too hot)

Should or can they ever be just cut all the way back? would this be helful or harmful? or even necessary?

I don't know about cutting it all the way back, but when I get browned leaf tips on mine I cut that individual stem back. You may want to try posting this over in the houseplant forum. The lily forum is frequented by people who have an interest in true lilies, the genus lilium. Peace lilies are not really lilies.
