Ask an Expert Master Gardener Program

gardener_sandyApril 28, 2012

If any of you are familiar with the Ask an Expert program, you might be interested to know that there is a move afoot to make this a public forum instead of the current system of emails to the person asking the question. There was a "walk through" of the proposed new system earlier this week and a lot of comments have been made both pro and con to the proposal. You can find a video of the presentation and the comments at the link below.

Here is a link that might be useful: Ask an Expert Walkthrough

Ask an Expert isn't a Master Gardener Program, even though certain MGs do answer the submitted inquiries.

My opinion, based on other sites I've seen that are open for public comment, is that as soon as they open it to public comment, many of those comments are less than worthless.

Hi jean001a. You're right, it's not a MG program. Sorry about that. In our area most questions are answered by MGs and I just got carried away. ;-)
