Many communities have restrictions about what you can grow in your front yard. They are seeking a uniformity that many of us do not appreciate. It is a political problem that can only be dealt with through your city representative or your legal consultant. Al

Here's another similiar story in Virginia. Someone planted Black-Eyed Susan's in their front yard with the intention of turning the yard into a wildflower haven. The City has issued them a code violation.
