From your personal experience, what green bean has performed the best for you in cool weather? Perhaps Contender or Early Idaho?
I am south of Seattle, southeast of Tacoma. Mid summer days are about 75-80F and nights are around 50F. June can be chilly and wet. I posted my 2013 bean report at the link below.
Red Eye Fall pole bean did very well. Aunt Jean's did too. I described several other winners. - Dick

Runner beans definitely like it cool.
Ditto on runner beans, for cool maritime climates like the Pacific coast. They will tolerate cool temps - and produce prodigiously - where common snap beans would struggle.
For common beans, I would recommend the pole varieties "Emerite" and "Fortex". Can't help you with bush varieties, since I grow mainly pole types.
