Why did my A. palmatum seeds germinate this year?
Strange question, but I've had this A. palmatum dissectum 'Waterfall' for years (8?), and it's made seeds for years, but this spring I've found at least 8 little seedlings. The only thing I can see being different is that we had almost continual snow cover this winter for the first time.
The differences in each are interesting, even with only 2 true leaves. What are the pros and cons to letting them grow on?
