Why are the maple leaves this color?

sdolancuJune 8, 2014

I have a four-year-old maple that I was hoping you could look at the picture and tell me if there is anything wrong or if this is normal. If you note in the picture, the ends of the branches have leaves that have turned red and/or yellowish. Perhaps that is normal, or maybe not? I am in Denver Colorado and the weather has been fairly warm with an occasional low of around 65 or so The tree is in between the sidewalk in the street but it seems to have been doing very well and I just want to make sure there's no it is brewing.
Thank you

That's typical new growth color. Looks to be doing just fine.
