Euonymus alatus grown as standard

garystpaul(4)March 14, 2010

Hi, all. Was out walking through the neighborhood this evening and noticed a new burning bush in a neighbor's yard. Looks like it was bought as a standard (had that white corrugated plastic protection around the 4'or so trunk). Looks like it could be kept neatly trimmed and in bounds that way. Anyone grown one of these? Gary

I was perusing Linder's website and on their list of available trees, they have a "tree form" burning bush listed.

Sounds like it might be the same?

I've never had one, but it sounds lovely!

Here is a link that might be useful: Linders Tree List
