yellow / lime green japanese maple?

snoonianAugust 27, 2011

We came across these in Langhorn, PA, and i'm looking for help identifying what they are. i posted a full photo showing the size and trunk, as well as details of the leaves and branches. the outer leaves are all a beautiful bright yellow / lime, and the inner leaves are more of a medium green. the very tips of the outermost leaves have a very faint pink hue. the branches are red. the trunk is irregular and wiggly. photos were taken in early august.

thanks in advance for any help. japanese maple

Looks like TIGER EYES SUMAC. Looks nice. Maybe I'll get one for myself even if it's not maple. Lol.

I have a "Japanese Sunrise" tree that is very similar to what you describe.
