Marie...Rose question

doucanoeApril 6, 2006

Okay, I took the cover off my "Betty Boop". So now what? Do I prune it, leave it alone, what? Not sure what it needs now that spring has arrived.

Darn thing stuck me in the finger really good! LOL

I'd leave it alone until you know what parts are alive and which are fully dead. It'll take a couple weeks to warm it out of dormancy. You can then lightly prune out the winter-kill and anything else you feel is "unattractive" though if it's not very big I'd wait on "shaping" it until next spring.
