burning bush invasive

I just found out a bush I have in my yard is considered an invasive should I rip it out? :-(

well I ripped it out (dig it out) :-( but I guess it is for the best

okay so I dint know what the buch was then ided it on teh "name that plant forum, then decided to rip it out. Now I am seeign them everywhere!!! they are planted all aroudn the WWII memorial. Must be 100 of them!!!???

They're very popular, because they're striking and easy to grow, but they're one of a number of nursery plants that can easily run amok. Others are Norway maple, rose-of-Sharon, English ivy, some of the privets, the common sort of barberry, miscanthus grass, and to a lesser extent some other euonymus, some hollies, and some of the other non-native maples.
