Anyone else planting frantically

frontiercc(MD Zone 6)June 6, 2013

Is anyone else planting frantically ahead of TS Andrea? I'm late this year, but made sure to sow some grass seed, some zinnias and other cutting flowers, and plant my new Little Lime Hydrangea ahead of the arrival.

Figure a good soaking will benefit. I just hope a good soaking doesn't turn into a deluge!! I think I'm safe in my area.

I planted like crazy last weekend. It is my first garden. I hope the rains don't wash away the seeds. I look every day to see if any seeds have germinated. :)

We are expecting between 1-5 inches with flash flood warnings. But we don't flood in my neighborhood.

Good luck!

I would have if I paid more attention. I have a huge spot that I need to reseed. This is a missed opportunity so I guess I'll have to wait until Fall or until the next monsoon comes along.
