Question about hosta types

gardenfanatic(MO zone5b)July 26, 2014

I'm sure I saw an explanation on the Hosta Library site about the different characteristics of hosta types like sieboldiana, tardiana, etc. but now I can't find it. Can anyone direct me to where that might be on the HL site? Thanks!

How about "Species Update" link at the Hosta Library.

Here is a link that might be useful: Just click on a specie to find out about it.

I clicked on that, but it's a long list of links to pdf documents. I clicked on some of them, but they didn't have the info I'm looking for. And I don't remember that what I was reading before was a pdf document.

I'm probably hallucinating! lol

I found this by googling. It has descriptions of the different species.

Thanks for that link, Sandysoil. It links the same info but is much easier to read. I have saved it and just used it in the message about non-blooming hostas. ;-)
