Looking for Princess Pine or Lycopodium

posieh(3)June 5, 2013

Trying to find a source for Lycopodium or also known as Princess Pine, Club Moss, or Ground Pine. And it looks like a little Pine tree as it only gets about 12 in. or so tall. It is a native plant of NE Minnesota but hard to find a source to buy a start. Does anyone have any info about it? It makes a nice dried plant for dried arrangements. will appreciate any help, thanks.

I THINK I saw this at Burchfiel's in the Duluth area last year. Didn't notice it this year but I was there looking for specific stuff, not just browsing. It might be worth giving them a call.

Here is a link that might be useful: Burchfield's Website

Thanks, I 'll try them. I've checked with a couple dozen Nurseries across the state but never this one. Thanks again.

Hey, I was at Gordy's in Duluth last week and noticed they had Princess Pine stocked with their houseplants. Not sure if you're in the Duluth area but thought I'd mention it in case you're still looking.
