little bugs

grinning_satyr(z10 SoCal)July 19, 2004

Hey all,

I just started some moonflowers and morning glorys a few months ago from seeds. they are growing like crazy and climbing up the railing on my balcony, today I noticed little black bugs all over a couple of plants. what are they? how do i get rid of them? should i be worried?

Also my Morning Glorys have got little white bumps on them that just started showing up last week, I'm assuming this is bormal and helps them grip stuff, but now I'm worried it may actually be a symptom of the little bugs.

Anyone with advice, please help

Thanks

John

Aphids? I spray with soapy water.

What I do is cut a piece off, put it in a baggie and run to the nearest nursery. Those people will ID that thing in a second and give you great advice.

A visual is worth a thousand words.
