Chicago - Will trade heirloom tomato plants for herb plants

ChicagoMike(z5 IL)April 8, 2005

OK, I started WAY too many tomato plants this year and have a fair number of extra. I have lots of Zogola, highlighted in the 100 Heirloom Tomato book. It's a vigorous, Polish, high productivity deep red beefsteak that is mid-season, I believe.

I'm looking for rosemary, catnip and oregano. I have some other heirloom tomato plants that I've started. I'll harden them off starting the second week in May.

Let me know if you have any herbs (plants) to trade. I know there is a plant trade forum, but I'm looking for someone local.

Are you still looking for herbs? And do you have any tomato plants left? I will be in Chicago this Sunday (Little Italy) and could bring the herbs with me.

I have the following herbs:

Chocolate Mint
Tansy (pretty flowers but way too invasive)
Catnip (Calamintha Grandiflora)
Garlic Chives
Regular Chives
