zone6-trying to get moonvine to bloom?

ladyrose65August 20, 2011

I got a large mass of moonvines. Sprawling all over the place. However, I don't have bloom-the-first? My MG's are blooming like crazy?

The root base is within a tire (no longer can see). I put 0-23-23 on it about a month ago. What can I do, to get it to produce blooms? This is my first year growing them.

Moon vines, in my experience, are really slow to bloom, but so worth the wait. Hope you're enjoying yours now! Planted mine early spring, got blooms (I'm zone 8) in late July.
