Identifying a house plant

mommafryeJanuary 5, 2009

I need to know the name of this plant.

It has leaves that are like clover. Its bloom is pink. It was a house plant and it didn't grow very tall.

I heard that is was called Thrift.

Do you have a picture? You might want to post it in the Name that Plant forum (which is right next to this one on the list of forums).

Have you tried Texas A&M's site? That's how I figured out what my favorite houseplant is - a fiddle leaf fig.

Sounds like an oaxlis, it doesnt get very tall at all and it is hardy in my zone. I border zone 6 and 7 northwest tn. There are several different varities of oaxlis each the foliage and flower bloom is different. I could be wrong I added a link for the native variety of the oaxlis l. but if you do a search for just oaxlis maybe that would help also.
