Lots of different seedling left over ?

Hi Everyone

I have alot of perennial seedlings left over in pots that have been growing since this spring, I am afraid to put them in the ground as alot of them are still small. Do you think it will be safe to put them in the ground? I really dont want to heat the greenhouse all winter.

Or is anyone interested in swaping for some?.

Right of the bat I have some Hostas, Hibiscus, Grand Blue Lobelia, Butterfly weed, and more..

Seedlings, in general, are incredibly resilient. There should be no need to keep them in a heated (or semi-heated) greenhouse over winter. You could put the pots on the ground outside in the shade, protect them from rodents, and cover them with just 4-6 inches of mulch after the ground (and pots) freezes. I think they would do fine.
