Has anyone ever grown Hoptree (Ptelea trifoliata) from seed? I have some seed and was wondering if it was too late to try and wintersow or if it was even worth the try. Please let me know if you've had success with this plant or any info. about it.

I have not grown it from seed, but have been growing it for more than 30 years. It is not a showy tree, but it is a nice native tree that i enjoy.

I just wintersowed about 30 seeds, hoping to get lots of caterpillar host plants.
