Need help identifying group of trees

They appear to be black cottonwoods, but the branch patterns look off to me. These are located in Bainbridge Island, WA

Looks like black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) to me but I can't say for sure. Images of the leaves when they appear would be helpful.
