Question - type of daisy?

mngardener1(4 - Minnesota)August 10, 2007

I have a yellow daisy but do'nt know what grows about 12" tall and has a large center, the petals are short and will curl under the head after a day or two. The leaves are fern-like - any ideas? It does seed and spreads rather fast but is very cute!

Sounds like Golden Marguerite....I used to have these and they are lovely but can get away from you if you let them. I would pull them like weeds when they'd grow where I didn't want them. I also found that they'd lean a lot when the mass of them got thick and I never found a good way to keep them from doing that. I miss them though...they are so sunny!
