carnations

Mart5(z5mo)June 14, 2005

I have planted carnations for the first time this summer. They have bloomed but don't seem to be growing and look yellow around the base. What special needs to they need?

Are these big carnations or dianthus? Some only bloom in spring, others continue all summer. Do you have them in full sun? Watch out for too much/not enough water.
