Awww...I've read that people hate Creeping Charlie. Why? It's so pretty. :-)
It is pretty, especially in stairs, but if you are trying to grow something else, its hard to control.
Does have an advantage that I heard about recently, in areas of Louisiana creeping charlie and sunflowers were apparently to absorb the heavy metals from the soil. The plants were apparently removed and sent to a hazard waste place. This may be one of those urban tales.
Its not uncommon for plants to absorb heavy metals from soil.
