It is pretty, especially in stairs, but if you are trying to grow something else, its hard to control.

Does have an advantage that I heard about recently, in areas of Louisiana creeping charlie and sunflowers were apparently to absorb the heavy metals from the soil. The plants were apparently removed and sent to a hazard waste place. This may be one of those urban tales.
