Plant ID Help?

greedygh0stJuly 20, 2012

Hello all. :)

I hope it isn't too annoying to ask for your help in this way. My boss just purchased a new house and can't identify this plant in her yard. She came to me because I'm a plant nerd, but unfortunately fairly garden-illiterate. Still, I told her she could put her faith in the experts at GW, and here we are, at your mercy!

Thank you for any insight you can provide!

Double pink Rose of Sharon shrub, Hibiscus syriacus. A very common garden shrub or small tree, blooms mid-late summer.
