chionodoxa in perrenial bed
I prepared a small bed for perrenials last year. Now, before most of the perenials are up, I have a HUGE plot of Chionodoxa (Glory in the snow)according to a plant specialist in the garden store. I had them last year before planting the perrenials and was told to cover them with plastic which did kill the foliage but apparently not kill the bulbs. I want to get rid of them but the only way I can seem to do so is to dig down about 10 inches where most of the bulbs are. Is there an easier way to get rid of them? I was surprised to find that they are used in many gardens but I don't want them!!!! Last year I didn't find out what they were.
