Kidneyleaf Buttercup and Wood Betony

cpackjr(z6 WV)May 9, 2013

Here are a couple of odd wildflowers for the knowledge base. Kidneyleaf Buttercup and Wood Betony.
Trying to see how many West Virginia Wildflowers I can photograph in one year. Seeing lots of firsts including these.

Here is a link that might be useful: West Virginia Native Wildflowers

Don't know the first one, but wood betony is lovely. I have some that are magenta in bloom, but most are yellow and orange.

They don't transplant very well, so leave them alone and enjoy them in the wild. Nice photos. Thanks for sharing.
