Help Identify Shenandoah Valley Wildflower

Found in Basye VA this morning, these beautiful dark purple flowers. On very long stalk (2 ft?). 5 petals with a big head of clustered petals, then some single blooms, long stem (2-3 ft) very rough leaves, almost like sandpaper.
