When do I plant perennials?

hains77April 6, 2009

Hi, Garden Newbie here. I just received perennials by mail but am not sure when to put them in the ground. They include coneflowers, coreopsis, monarda, asters, and daylillies. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Perennials may be planted as soon as you get them. However, if you are very busy, when you get around to it! If you do not plant right away, make sure the plants are will watered.
