Plant ID for a variegated shrub

frankielynnsie(7B)July 12, 2013

I have put this on the id forum but it doesn't seem to be a very busy site and I need to know what this is ASAP. I want to try to root it but need info on the best way. I will post a plant photo and leaf photo. It is a spreading, 4 ft deciduous plant with serrated leaves alternating on stems.
