Suggestion for Colorado Wildflower book?

pbelardo_nj(z6 NJ)July 21, 2006

My g/f and I are going to Vail in August. We love wildflower finding in the northeast and would like to do the same in Colorado. Does anyone have a good book recommendation? I know of the Peterson Rocky Mountain Wildflowers guide and another guide called "Plants of the Rocky Mountains". Any idea which is better? Is there another book that is better than those? Thanks!

Guide to CO Wildflowers (vol 2) for Mountains by G.K. Guennel(also has a companion book for wildflower hikes that is great.

If still in print, Alpine Wildflowers of the Rocky Mountains (Joseph Duft and Robert Moseley
