Rhododendron rex.....anyone growing?

TimMAz6(6b)March 24, 2013

I just received a Rhododendron rex which is one of the big leaf Rhododendrons. This form has leaves to 18" long! Who has attempted to grow this? I don't think they like southern exposure. Can they tolerate northern exposure in our area?
