summer high elevation flowers of NC

Debra785July 21, 2013

Saturday we were hiking in the high elevations of NC and came across a flower that I cannot identify. The tiny greenish flowers reminded me of a blue cohosh, but it was not a cohosh. The only leaves were board leaves at the ground that reminded me of a lily or orchid. Thank you.

Perhaps a blue bead lily, Clintonia borealis.
