What is eating my eupatorium?

efeuerAugust 7, 2013

These are Sweet Joe Pyeweed, Eupatorium purpureum. They are full of big holes, but I never see anything on them. If it were caterpillar damage I think I'd see them. My zigzag goldenrod look about the same. Any suggestions?

Take a flashlight and go out after dark and see what is eating them.
