bulk corn meal South Jersey???

blip01(7, NJ)July 21, 2005

Does anybody know where I can find bulk corn meal and corn gluten for fertilizing my lawn?

I'm in Sicklerville, and have tried Agway, Dambly's and Allen's Feed & Seed. No luck. All I can find is cracked corn.

Are you any where near route 40 and Elmer? Belive the Pennsfield horse feed dealer sells corn but would be worth a call to make sure.

Thanks for the reply. I did find a place that carries it.

Woodstown Ice and Coal Co.
50 East Grant St
Woodstown, NJ
Phone: (856) 769-0069

100lb. for around $10.

LOL! I guess the place has been around a while, and used to actually sell ice and coal. It's a feed/hardware store now.

$9.20 for a 100lb bag of the corn meal. Can't wait to spread it on the lawn.

I know this thread is dated, but it always comes up in my search and since I found another place that sells cornmeal in NJ, I figured I'd update. Agway in New Egypt sells 50lb bags. I have 3 on order now. Under $10 each.

Speaking of feed dealers, can anyone recommend any bulk meal dealers in North or Central Jersey? We're in Hudson County with nary a feed dealer anywhere around -- ask the staffers in Lowe's or HD and they look at you like you're nuts. We're looking for alfalfa, kelp, fish and cottonseed meals, primarily.

Not familiar with your area, but have you tried Agway?
