Wild Rabbits Taking Over

achang89(Z6)July 11, 2013

Coming home, saw 7 wild rabbits in 3 places. My carpool saw 6 rabbits.....

We had fox and snakes before. Now I want to see the fox back. The rabbits eat almost everything, from liriope, marigold to pepper and other garden veges. They stole my ripe tomatoes.

Should I try to trap and catch them? Do they come back if I release them?

Rabbits usually won't go into a box trap. Animal populations can fluctuate greatly from year to year.
