When to Plant Echinacia, Paw Paw Tree or Holly

edlincoln(6A)March 18, 2013

I've taken to planting stuff at my parent's place when I visit, to give me something to do. My parents are in coastal Massachusetts, Zone 6a. What plants should I plant when I visit for Easter (March 30) vs. Mother's Day (May 12)?

1.) Holly (American and English)
2.) Paw Paw Tree (seedling in container)
3.) Echinacia bulbs
4.) Beach Pea (small seedlings)

Spring seems to be late this year. Maybe wait til Mother's Day.
